Their John and Claudia Upper School Learning Center, includes a state-of-the-art recording studio. This technologically advanced state-of-the-art library will promote individual and group study both during and after school with reconfigurable furniture, flexible technology, and a multitude of study carrels.
There are three study rooms in the library, people can reserve the room from their calendar system. But with no room sign or any visual cue near the door, people do not know if someone has reserved the study room. Or which time slot that they can choose to use the room.
Plus the wall is a non-glass wall, thus it’s hard to tell if the room is available or not. Taking the room without further checking with the facility manager about the availability of the room is might take a bit of time.
Thus quite a time of the facility manager was spent on this kind of checking & confirming the issue. What’s more, chances are the people who reserve the room might find the studio was taken when he gets there.
Thus to solve this issue, the Head Librarian Tedd Roseberry wants room signage that can sync the room schedule, as well as automatically update the latest events on the screen.
